Default I got into the 15s!!!!

I know its nothing special, but i was pretty wrapped! I tagged along with the E-Series guys to heathcote today and ran a new personal best of 15.94@86.79mph! So i only just made it, but for the little work i have done to the car i am very happy! Now all i have to do is learn how to launch properly. :P

Nothing wrong with that at all! Getting a PB is always a thrill and cracking into the next second bracket is a huge step. Well done!!

Better change your sig now!

Thanks for the support guys! I'm not an avid drag racer, although i can feel myself starting to become one! Not 100% sure how many cars were out there exactly, but i would say it was at least 40-45 all up. Quickest cars of the day were an N/A EB 6 cylander on NOS and a turbo skyline both ran 12.8's i believe. I was just happy to get out there and shred some tyres! :sm_headba
Who knows, with some work, by next year i could join the elite ranks of the 14 club! :P

Good stuff!
I run 15.96 with the corty. Its just got an XF Weber and manifold and a measly 101rwhp. But who cares, its the fun you have out there having a go. And good on ya for having a go, I say!

Well done guys on getting into the 15's. It always feels so good to get a PB. What's more important is that you have lots of fun doing it. Sounds like you are hooked now, it is so highly addictive I have found.

Well done mate, I know what it's like to get under that 16 sec barrier, it took a few runs in my ute to get a similar time to yours.

15's are good for a stock engine with 3.73 LSD diff. well done.

Have you posted your time slip up yet?

I would like to see the 60 and the splits.

No probs mate, it was great to be there! Always up for supporting the fellow Ford crew, even if it was an average showing by myself! :P I think i managed to beat at least one Skyline while i was there.

I'm sure i might be, but i dont know if the car can stand up to it. I think after an all day caining, my next investment will be a big trans cooler!

Well done. 15.9 is an excellent time considering such few mods you have done.

Well done Mate.
Whether it's into the 10's or into the 15's, it doesn't matter. Its always a thrill to break into that next barrier.
You do realise though, you could be on the path of no return..... :evilsasmo

Thanks for the encouragement guys! It wouldnt be the worst thing in the world if i was gripped by the bug, just an expencive grip! :P
I would love to get out on the track on a still day if that ever happens. Both times i have been driving into a headwind, and if i could get my launches right, i think i could take another tenth off my time. What do u guys think?
