GO the 3v!!

Go the Ford boys.

The conditions must be good down there, even up here seems like great conditions dry as and cold.

Well done Craig, mean't to catch up with you over the weekend but just got run off my feet with 14 G&D cars to look after.lol.

That 3v of yours sounded awesome,it has a really unique exhaust note compared to the Boss,we loved it.

Well done.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments i just love running this 3V down the race track. It continues to get stronger and stronger with little changes, spent some time on the Bluepower dyno during the week trying a few different things (thanks Chris).

Here's some numbers.

1: 1.91 60ft 13.37 @ 103.54
2: 1.83 60ft 13.20 @ 102.86
3: 1.87 60ft 13.37 @ 100.96
4: 1.85 60ft 13.30 @ 33.14
5: 1.96 60ft 13.21 @ 100.09 (DYO backed off at about 1250ft) got pipped at the line.

Can't wait till next time, all in all a busy weekend fitted a BF XR8 exhaust system and lowered a VY Commodore on saturday morning drove up to Heathcote for the LS1 nats at lunchtime with my wife and kids, raced my car the wife raced her commodore i crew chiefed for her drove my car got home about 11.00pm. Got up early went to the Di Filippo's and fired up the Top Fuel Dragster then pulled it apart and put it back together again in readiness for monday's race at Calder, i think i need a bourbon or two and look at that there's Drag Racing on foxtel right now from Las Vegas gotta go.

Cheers Craig : : : :

Don't really know rodderz, i guess it all comes down to the almighty dollar, the car is just about ready to fire right now but to race it is a different matter.

It would be a tough decision whether to decide to become part of the andra series, I know that you'de be itching to have a steer of the thing but in a sport where there isnt a lot of return and every component costs both an arm and a leg, the $$ would be the over riding factor

G'Day galaxy xr8,

Yes will continue to develop this deal as much as possible. If the car sells so be it, i have more 3V cars at my disposal if needed (a couple of auto's too).

Hi Rob,

I race with the exhaust on. I have two exhaust systems for the car.

1: Di Filippo 2-1/2" single system for everyday use with flash tune 1.
2: Di Filippo 3" twin system (same as we put on the GT's) with a slightly different set up for racing purposes in flash tune 2.

The car sounds real tough so i have just left it on for now cause i love it but it may come off soon cause i think the neighbours are staring to gets the $hits with me.

Regards Craig

Don't worry about the neighbour's, I'd love to have a neighbour like you, to be woken up on a Sunday morning to the sweet sound off a grumbling V8, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
