Default Pursuit ute stock exaust?

Was at WSID tonight a went up against a MKII 6 speed Pusuite (Craigs friend-Phantomxr8) ute with only ss cai and cappa generic tune he managed a 13.478@104.13 2.181 60' thought that was not bad.

I did a 13.393@103.22 1.975 60' + 3 13.4's (ford put a new PCM in this arvo as 1000 to 1320ft times was down from last time I think my tune needs to re learn again felt a bit sluggy) was a pitty as the track was so sticky ridiculously actually, did 3 high 1.9 60' droping the clutch at 4200rpm no spin but air temp was 27c track temp was 34c humidity was 33% gotta love Sydney weather(not).

Thumbs up Wsid

Good effort tonight Wade!, keep up the great work mate! Yeh, the FPV ute, his effort wasn't too bad, a better first up effort than mine. He's hooked big time, he'll be contacting Chris@Blupower pretty soon!

Cheers Craig,
Mate for a first timer that was excellent 2.1's on street tyres, yeh got him pritty psyched when I was telling him how good he would go with a good tune in that 290.

Thats a good time & effort, all it needs is a bit more MPH...
Wade what was wrong with your other PCM, why did Ford change it?

Mark I have a trap speed chart i got off someone else almost all of mine have been down, according to the chart that 104 he did equates to 106.8mph.
To check you trap speed you subtract you ET from your 1000ft time, in his case 2.118 which matched up to 106.8(right lane) he was doing high 105 in the left lane, mine last night when I did 103 turned out to be 104(left lane). The left lane seems to read alot more accuratly than the right lane. Another guy on V8owners(he was racing at the east coast nats drives a silver clubsport) found this out and WSID only just recently have acknowledged the problem.
The other week when I did my PB it was in the right lane but only read 103 but my 1000ft to 1320ft read 2.142 which came to 105.6 on the chart but in the left lane that night I did a few 106mph.
Heres a sample of the chart the left column is you 1000ft to 1320ft time the right column is you estimated trap speed.

2.030 111.3
2.040 110.8
2.050 110.2
2.060 109.7
2.070 109.1
2.080 108.6
2.090 108.1
2.100 107.6
2.110 107.1
2.120 106.6
2.130 106.1
2.140 105.6
2.150 105.1
2.160 104.6
2.170 104.1
2.180 103.7
2.190 103.1
2.200 102.7

The guy I got this off says it is quiet accurate as you know how fast you have to be going to travel that distance in that time if you know what I mean, also I have checked this chart off a few other forum time slips seem to be very close to the mark.

About my PCM, I have the bad idle/stalling problem was getting PCM falure codes has been quiet bad over the last month for example when I lined up to do my burnout when I did my PB it stalled lol. Seems alot better but this arvo was still getting some simptions, see how it goes over the next few days also before that they changed my TPS as well did nothing.

Mate with the same mods as my car he would be doing 12's big time, we were having great little tussles all night smash him off the line but watched him slowly closing in on me at the finish good hp in that thing for almost stock. Mate havnt seen many 290's go that well with so few mods at WSID.

when i was WSID few weeks back the Top Alcohol MPH record in Australia was re-set from the right lane.
Does this still stand since they found there was a problem?

If that was the right lane it stands alright, every time slip I have compared from other tracks to the chart is very close to the mark but WSID always seems to read low mainly in the right lane. Mate I've been scratching my head for a while why my mph is low but am getting good ET's as you have noticed yourself.

I'm right with you Wade, 102 v 105 seems puzzling. 319 v 322 doesn't warrant a question.

Was that Dragon out there the other night in the pursuit, only saw you boys run 1 pass and had to shoot off. Is this another that's been bitten by the mod bug, is he going out again soon.

Hope to be out there running with you boys soon.
