Same thing happened at Heathcote last Sunday. Close to 130 cars turned up. So bad I ended up scrutineering so people could have a run. We ended up having only one run but we got our money back for helping. :-)

And the fuzz wonder why they have street drags? Line up for 3 hours, pay $120 or whatever they rip you for, do a pass ad go home, there's value and a cool nights racing. Tats if you havent taken the afternoon off work just to get turned away at the door.

after we went calder sat night a mate and i were having this exact conversation
not that we supported it but you can see why some young(and older) blokes might go to an industrial estate have a few runs then bugger off before they get caught
far better off to have more of these meets but i think street meet means street meet not getting stuffed sround by comp cars

you think that's bad, imagine being a 'comp' car waiting to have a run and watching the street cars do lap after lap, while you sit there twiddling your thumbs !
