Im pretty sure you will need to seal the panel behind the rear seat, to create a firewall.

You only need a firewall if you have a fuel cell in the boot, and yes mate you must have an isolator if the battery is moved from it's standard location.
It must also cut the engine and all power when off. Basicly the charge wire has to go to the +ve on the battery and you pull power for the car from the switched side of the isolator not from +ve on the battery.

So i do have a fuel cell in the boot and the battery in the boot but all fuel lines are under the car (like a drop tank setup ) So i need to close in behind the back seat to make a firewall (can i use alloy) and need to fit isolator ? Where does the isolator go ? ie outside the car or in the boot or in the car Is there an Andra book for all this stuff ? Thanks for any help |
