Default BLKPhoon has gone and done a mischeif...

It seems that I gone and done what everyone thought would happen soon anyway....

I have proposed to the little Kiwi today... :

I organised to have a close encounter with the elephants at the melbourne zoo and whilst standing next to the elephant I ask her to marry me.

I will fill in everyone at the next meeting/event on the details but 1600GT "just" happened to be working at the zoo today (what are the chances aye??) so he already knows.

Grasshopper.... we had bets going and after the "non-event" on Sunday (I was expecting to wak in and see bling) the bets cooled off..... !!
But, good brownie points in doing it whilst the fockers were over here .......

Congrats a million to you both.... and whilst you didn't mention it, i assume she said yes???????

Congrats to BLKPhoon & LA on this announcement : Any ideas when the 'fockers' may be having another holiday in Melbourne yet.....?

Just goes to show that you are not safe anywhere nor can you expect never to see anyone you know. Anyway catch up at the next event on Sunday.

couldnt believe it. go there a couple of times a week, never see anyone i know (from outside the zoo), and the 1 time i do was just after the big q!!
made my 1 hour they let me out of the cage each day a good one, thats for sure.
funniest part was LA, when she said the highlight "was being in the elephant enclosure, feeding them, and getting a painting from an elephant... ohh, and daymo popping the question" LOL!!
and yep, i was giving the elephants access to trunk calls... ha ha _ ... never heard that one before.

Make sure you boys do the things which are 50/50 causing injury so you have time to recover fully for the wedding.
