Default Fastest 1/4 for a BA-BF I6T

My mate and i have been having a discussion, he believes the fastest 1/4 time for a VL Turbo untubed is 8.5.
I wanna know what the fastest time for an untubed BA-BF Turbo is. Does anyone know?
I see on the time slips here that the fastest in this foum in a 9.53, but i think that has VXSS motor in it, not sure if i read it correctly. If it does have the SS V8 it doesn't count.

There is a bit of a weight difference between the vehicles to remember.

vlt's have been around a long time, so they have had a lot of time to get them sorted, hence the quick times. Ba I6t's are new, so the quickest is about 9.5 at the moment. The diff is the weak link. Wait for the Nizpro car to start resetting some records.

BA GT-P for the shed
Mustang GT for the other half
E3 chubsport - fully fat (and slow), sitting there waiting for me to get sick of it and sell it.
BA XR6T for a daily
NT Pajero for the bush
XB 4 door project- swallows a BF xr6 turbo

My dad is a generous bloke. He gave away his dead car batteries free of charge....

Your mate is close.
8.681 is the quickest E.T in an untubbed VL Turbo.
9.981 is the quickest E.T in an untubbed BA/BF Turbo.

Is that still; using an RB30 though, or would it be with an RB26?

That's with an RB30ET on board. The car is known as OOH30T.

Apparently they can not get the RB25DET to go faster than the RB30, even with the trickier head, even if they make a hybred RB30 bottom end with RD25DET head its still doesn't get quicker times, that i don't understand. Imagine an RB30DETT, put the RB26DETT head on the RB30 bottom. Thats gotta run faster.

I just told my mate to take the nissan motor out of the VL and put the 4L Barra with a turbo hanging from the side in it.
Anyway would be good to see the BA get close to the VL times, considering the VL is so much lighter and cheaper to get moving.
