Default Favourite mods

What are your favourite mods to your car & how much did they leave you broke for?

My fav on the xf ute would have to be the extractors!! It was $900 with a 2 1/4 exhaust system.

On the xb getting rid of the rust for $1000!!! (i classify that as a modification, didn't all XBs come out with rust as stock standard?? lol) :

Ahh no, that would be XC's that came with rust!!

Ummm, on the EL - Lowering would be my favourite mod at the moment.
Extractors following closely second.

Tough call. It's a real tossup between lowering and extractors/exhaust. Lowering made the car look better, while the extractors made it go hard. Bah! I can't decide.

For me, it would be The exhaust and airfilter......Makes the car that much easier to breath and release its gases lol :

Supercharger without a doubt.. wiped out the finances a treat. Although i am fond of the yellow smiley face hanging from the rearview...

well the only two mods ive done so far are thermos and the exhaust (cat back).

Both are good bang for ya buck mods, but $300 for the exhaust was well worth it! Picked up a tiny bit of kw's and has the sound to match most V8's.
(I know that comment is going to cause some flack, but I haven't heard a six like mine, although im sure there are other out there with the same setup).

Digital instrument cluster from an XF Fairmont Ghia, don't even have to think about that one!

Oh, and that one didn't leave me broke at all, it was given to me by a friend who understands my financial situation.

But I can't wait to get the extractors and new exhaust installed, just want to run it on a dyno first to get a base figure so I can see how much difference the extractors actually make.

My favorite mod is the customised thin JMM sticker on my rear number plate.

It was free.

Foam to choke up the horn so it doesn't go off in the extreme cold! Excellent! No more premature horn blasts.

Alloy drag wheels with slicks, makes the difference between dangerous wheelspin and wheels in the air.

Only mod I have on the car is TS50 T3 rims 18" X 8" wrapped in GT radials tyres. They hold the road and look great. The tyres have saved me a few times.
