I got so caught up in it I forgot about adding my Cortina escapade to the list

I'm trying to get my dad to sign up and add his times or should I claim them myself?

Sounds like you're getting better tracion now. On the same tyres?
I hope to do a leap over 5 or so soon too.

Thanks Lowride, no that was with a borrowed set of 8*26"s, the car was turning them through first and second,I dont think the track was that good last night, now I just have to find the black hole that has sucked up 3;1/2 mph and try for an 11.00, I have a feeling the new clutch is slipping a little at the top of the track

the more traction you have the less mph you will have @ the end. Wheelspin = big mph reading.

I have a feeling something is up brenx, even last time out on the ET streets the mph was no better, when it was on song I was doing 96-97 mid track and carrying it,you would think the mid track would be up with the slicks but the best was 95, that's from 1.78 to 1.62 60's, I really think it's off a bit

if your clutch was slipping you would have good et but your mph would be down i would safely say if it ran faster but mph was down it would be in the clutch rather than anywhere else, we ran a 7.30 one night at only 170mph and stuffed a set of clutchs, so thats were i would look first,
