Thanks guys , 60 ft was 1.48, Danny did some fine tuning on the dyno after 1 yr, so added a tad more timing in the mid and top, so Car was how I raced at Heathcote bar the tuning.
The gain seemed to be the track also with more grip as 60 ft dropped from 1.58 to 1.48.

Bummer you couldn't borrow some weight wheels, would have dipped you into the 10.3 zone no doubt.

Yeh the steel rims are not light, there's not much more room for improvement unless i start taking some weight out. Also if it were a sedan it would see 10.3 not a problem.

Congrats mate, real credit to both yourself and Headsex's tuning ability.

How do you find using the E85 everyday, especially cold mornings?

It's not that bad, about 6-10secs to start, fuel consumption is greater though, if you drive a fair bit it will be costly. I get about 300-350 per tank, freeway will of course be alot better.

You must have one tough BTR in that ute, allot of people at the drags don't realize how heavy the B and F series are, allot of torque/strength is needed to net a 1.4 when shifting over 4000lbs.

Biggest hat possible goes off to ya bloke!

Don't I know it Mark! so far... not really my forte

I look at the street cars running sub 1.70 60ft cars in awe! It is hauling 4000lbs out of the hole. Amazing really when you think of the stress on the components and the grip required!

Actually, we are 1 degree timing less in midrange and top end.

Their was other changes that contributed to the small power increase.

Good effort on the 60 foot. It's really a treat seeing it happen.

Also, it's a flat 20psi tune, no spiking 25psi coming in. I think we can improve your 60 by just having 100duty on the turbo 100% of the time

Yeh no one mentioned a thing, as timing boards wern't operating, so maybe thats why, i just picked up my timeslip from the young fella in the timing box.
I had 4 runs in total...
1st pass - 10.45
2nd pass - 10.51
3rd pass - 10.44
4th pass - 10.53

Tried for more boost off the line but obviously it wasnt hooking up and had a slower 60ft of 1.52

Yeh much better than the radials
60 fts were
1.481
1.51
1.480
1.52
Plus Calder was better prepped than when we went to Heathcote as no changes were made other than a tickle on the tune.

Might look into 50/50 rear shocks if they have another street meet at Calder, hopefully that will help a bit more, hopefully the std tailshaft will keep holding on.

I like to believe so... 15pounds off the line was ideal, whereas it slipped off the mark when I tried for 18 pounds, still 1.51 and 1.52 60's, so maybe get the rear to push down harder and not come back up as quick.
I can only try and see I guess, won't know till I try.
