Thumbs up Drags

Well done Mark, you can't help yourself, knew you'd be back into it. For a change, it's great to see people heading to Sydney for tunes. A lot of us know how hard the trip is to do in a day. The up hill run home is a killer! Big numbers mate, pull some of that hardware out and it will improve, keep it up!

Next thing after cv's are the rubber coupling that sits between the tailshaft and the box and the one between the diff and tailshaft, mine are starting to crack/tear. Also the rubber mount where the center bolts to the cradle is worn badly and the whole cradle has 7oook's on it so they would be things i'd keep an eye on.

I don't think it's going to be a cure for driveline clunk, i think drive line clunk is more from the center itself.

Still not leaving the line on Boost, auto edit software is still not available.
At least with this tune we managed to get from 1.98 down to 1.88 but need a low 1.7 .
Used 28 psi in the rear, once we leave the line on the boost it will test the tyres out.

I know of only 2 auto's that have broken CV's, both were 10 sec XR6T's, being Geea and Adam.

I hear you Leigh same deal with mine.
My centre rubber on the locating rear end bolt is flogged out.
Spoke to Rod about it the other day, he said we need to weary using anything but rubber as it needs to have some give there, with our heavy cars we don't want to break the bolt.
Big job whole rear end gets dropped out and needs to come apart.

I know the holdens have had this issue with their irs setup and they are getting good results with a nolathane bushing, i'm hoping it works just as well with our's. Mine is that bad you can fell/hear it twist the center on nearly every gear change and when on off the throttle hard.

not sure about that myself . i just know that mine was very tight with no clunk at all from new for the 1st 15k. now 23k some clunk evident . , not diff, mre in box . but perhaps hopefully some coupling wear . lots of wear points here on these drivelines . theyu should have a maintenance routine factored in from factory. sorry off topic . but related to high performance. excelant time there spoolman. that must feel like a rocket.cars not long ago needed NITRO for times like that.

Well done Mark and Mauz. That is sensational for an everyday driver F6.

As for Spiro, well done champ. I'm now really looking forward getting the APS phase 2 kit next week.

Hey Mark! Thats great news! And well done to Mauz for great driving! He should know how to drive them! Hehe. Well done to Spiro at Autotech too - I have personally seen him and his work in action - one very professional dude who knows his stuff and goes out of his way for his customers! I wont forget how he helped us out in Sydney when we were stuck.

You do have a great car Mark, I love it. Cant wait to see it in action again.

I am just wanting a Typhoon more and more... BFYB you cant beat it, and it looks so classy too.

Awesome!
