Default 2009 Focus RS in Detail

http://www.caradvice.com.au/21299/20...-rs-in-detail/

Interesting read.

I'm surprised no-one of this forum thought they should have gone AWD instead of just FWD ........ :

I imagine it'll be a dog in the wet...although traction control can help if it's really well setup.

You need to ask Matt (Zetec) He's actually driven it in the wet

Wow the torque is awesome, mid sized rocket..
RS 2.5-litre engine, which produces 224kW at 6,500rpm and peak torque of 440Nm between 2,300 and 4,500 rpm.

It manages to get the power down with minimal torque steer even in the wet. I was surprised at how well it handled, laying down fat power in second gear out of a wet corner - and going where it was pointed.
