News from Calder Park,
FPVGT Alex ripped a 12.1 in his XB GT. Heard Ratters Ute went 11.8 @ 117mph Mate of mine in his BF F6 Stock 100% from factory, had his 1st drive in it today......spare and jack in the boot, melways and standard ford air filter. 1st time down the track ever for this guy, pulls a 13.3 @ 106 mph. :eclipsee_ There is a few others out there waiting to here a few more results. GT club are running from the infield.

Yes the F6 is a force to reckon with, it's a shame Ford have made a product that will enventually kill the nameplate "GT" as the performance vehicle from Ford.

Johnny aka no_gas_yeah_right in the Cortina just pulled a 10.1 N/A (definetely 'no gas') so it looks like a N/A 9sec pass will come soon!!!
And naughts (in the pink XB GT) has a new PB!! Don't know what time, but hopefully it starts with a 13!!

I reckon the blokes at FPV must have really taken there time on this car and made an example of it, it's got a lot of power straight out of the box. That and the steerer has worked out the tricks with it too |

Just got back from there myself (i leave when the burnout comp starts) the racetrack was in killer nick tonight. Well done to everyone who ran PB's.
I was doing some R & D in the ute with a new generation Tex clutch and it felt real good. I only ran 13.20's but was happy with that. Lots of cars there tonight, probably the most ever for a friday night street meet. |

Now that i have actually read my timeslips i can add to this thread for PB's.
My ET'S were close but i have picked up some MPH. Previous best for the ute was 103.72, last night i ran 105.00 104.43 105.95 104.60 106.06 Some suspension changes will see the ET's drop. Cheers CC |
