to be honest I dont know. I believe it's capable of 9.2 or so but that night he tended to have to get off as it got sideways anfetr coming down and needed to back off to straighten up.

Maurice. He is a gentleman, a racers racer.

The engine is a 9.2 deck SVO with C3H alloys, built by Con sideris at PRE race engines in campbellfield.

Its basically a cleveland, it was re blocked into the Dart block for reliability, and making over 700hp on the PRE dyno.

Con does all my seat cutting, and I use his engine dyno. No one gets a carbed V8 tin top down the qtr faster than Con in Aust - Current Pro stock record holder with the andriopoulos deal.

Yes, but there was never a 9.2 deck windsor, its all cleveland internals, and as part of andra rules, engine type is denoted by cylinder head configuration, clevo it is.

so a 9.2 SVO with a canted head is pretty much a cleveland, a 9.5 with a wedge head would better describe a windsor.

Best ET is 9.71 @ 137.2... Keep your eyes peeled because Maurice tells me we'll be seeing more of it [literally] in the coming months

Saw it from the staging lanes on friday nite. Each time they had to abort the run and putter through for 13 sec times.

Little relevance, it has the numbers that others envy, and had a conservative clutch last time out. This combo has teens in it no problem.

Facts remain that the Sideris/andrioupoulos combo pitch carbed tintops down the quarter the quickest. Not bad for a mopar.

Best wheel stand I ever seen, crazy and he did more than one..
.
Also like to make a special mention for George Haddad's 67 XR Falcon run
ET:10.5 @ 133 mph on Mickey Thompson Drag radials, then the family jumped in it and they drove home to Dandenong.
Unreal a true street 10 sec 67 falcon...

Ongas, I hope you are willing to put money on it.........

The engine is a 9.2 deck, with a canted valve C series head. I dropped off a 5.0 litre circuit race motor and had a chat with Con (the builder of the engine) and he confirmed its a 9.2

I wont take your money. :

As you say the biggest practical difference between Windsor and Cleveland is the head design, the heads make the power, Canted = Cleveland ,wedge = windsor!
