hi there,
just another update on my car........ late decision to go tonight...around 3pm weather did not look good. fitted a surge tank and pump during the week, then decided to drop the exhaust. Not much gain in Kw but added 70nm. 1st run a 1.8 60' and a 11.35 at 121mph 2nd run a 1.78 60' and a 11.30 at 121.8 3rd run saw 1.6 60' and 11.17 car started to creep stalling it up on the next pass and another 11.1 time. decided to remove the headlight during the burnout comp to see how much difference this would make. 60' 1.764 660' 7.162 @ 100.7mph ET 11.050 @ 126.45mph nice increase in mph....more work needed there. shame i only got 1 run after the burnout comp......... A big thanks to Mike at Mikes Dyno's for help with the tune and Paul from KEAS for the auto & converter (works 100%) a fantastic effort considering the engine is stock apart for fitting xr6 valve springs and a reground turbo cam!!!!!
