I don't think I'd be happy if I ran that, I'd be thinking what if i had done this or that just to get an extra 2 100ths

Congrats
Great times

Slow start, got 5 runs in, which is a killer at calder, the burnout comp had a record 8 or 9 entrys, people not happy, but there was little stress oil down wise, so that made up for it.

HPF had a white full trim XR6T running 10's, never seen it before, and a first timer XR6t acid rush auto running 12's too.

Im stoked mark, 260's rock. getting tempted to open one now.........

sly wont let it go that HE drove his own car tonight, i will never hear the end of it, my driving job has VANISHED!

Well done Dave......once again the "purple puss" is the one to beat.

Heathcote is looking more and more exciting...will be great if someone can crack the 12's at a AFF meet.

See you in a week mate.....keep the beer cold.

Cheers

The time is getting closer, I can hear the cans being opened for the 12sec run after all the work you blokes have put into it.

Well done Guys, won't be long now.

Hey Chris, obviously you are not very busy down there, you should consider flying up here on Wednesday and having a drive at WSID. You will only miss a few hours of work time. LoL.

Good luck at Heathcote next weekend.

See you in a few weeks for your SYDNEY TUNING trip oh MASTER

The hardest part has been watching all these guys run quick, and I had only ever run 3 13.4's.

If not for GTP330 threatening me with a beating if I didn't put my exhaust back on, (and a re-tune) i would probably have my stock system still on it.

Here's how I went, giving it a bootful,

2.102 83.63 13.32 105.94
2.050 84.00 13.30 105.79

then a little more gentle at the startline

1.998 84.91 13.10 106.62
2.010 85.15 13.06 106.85
2.033 84.47 13.05 107.19

The nicest part of the evening was chatting to all the LS1 boys, who were missing tailgates, exhausts, had cams fitted,

and were only running 12.7's.

They make me sick. I can see now that we are slowly starting to hurt them, i predict within 12 months we will be cam only 11's. When I made the prediction last night, they didn't laugh. In fact, not many LS1 guys are laughing at us anymore, we are starting to get their respect.

Go the Hump!

Excellent work Dave, man that's just too close. I reckon if you had a splattered insect on your number plate you would have got the 12, that's how close you guys are to it. Oh great one Chris, you're doing great too mate! Your under studies are whippin' your **** though. The Xtreme gravy train is now really starting to picking up some pace.

Sly has 4.11's.....should be approximately 5500 rpm over the line in 3rd gear on a 4 speed auto.

XRFPV8, Myself, and Sly all have 4.10 gears in the diffs. Mark held the record, 13.47 for nearly a year, and was the first to R and D the diff, we just followed his lead.

Ideally, (and I think the big guy has already mentioned) a 3.91 would be the ideal ratio, but not made yet - i would be keeping an eye on the turbo territory, as word is, its a 3.91.

Chris, maybe strip/street ratio i think the 3.9 would be good..
For racing 4.1's and a 4 speed Auto with the M/T radials the trye roll out combo is very good for the 260 with around 105mph.
For the guy's that have a 260 Auto and think 4.1's are low 2500 rpm mine sits on 107 klm on the road.
