Default Victor Junior manifold v funnel web manifold

Backing up the 10.7et @ 126 mph naturally aspirated terminals, the car scored a 124 mph trap speed on a 37 degree day with a passenger. Since then, the change to a Parker Manifolds funnel web manifold saw an improvement to 10.5 seconds and 129 mph with more to come. The Parker manifold has longer [equal length] inlet runners than the Victor Junior manifold previously used. “The new manifold doesn’t give a big increase in power, but when we ran it on the chassis dyno, the torque reading went off the chart,” Explained Tikfessis. “We’ve tried a few different jet sizes and found where we need to be and then managed to do a best ever naturally aspirated pass for the car.”
