I do realise that, thats why I put Brenden On TOP. Stokeb's time is there so u can see what other people have done to catch him!!!!! And Brenden is only going to get quicker ( he might have the first N/A 4 litre to crack the 12's)

yeah, the closest true n/a car that i've seen with a slip is still STOKEB with a 13.9 on *true* street tyres

We wont start this arguement again, everyone has the same tyres Brenden uses' available to them, they just don't buy them, who's fault is that.
Brenden was going to run the EB on what you call *true* street tyres but before he went to the track, he put them on the TIME MACHINE, to test it on the dyno. 1 Hour later, chunks of rubber blew out of the tyres on the dyno!!!!!!!!

THE TOP 3 AS I KNOW IT ARE: W/Timeslips
1- BMOCK - RED EB FALCON 13.3sec
2- STOKEB - GREEN EB FALCON 13.9sec
3- BMOCK-JMM Workshop UTE 14.01sec

get over it.
i'm not starting an arguement.
i'm simply saying, on tyres that EVERYONE uses on the road, he ran a 13.9.
still .6 seconds behind the JMM car, which is a lot.

no need to get so deffensive.

Sorry, just at the end of my third week in China, a vented a little where I shouldn't have. (China is frustrating for me).
I do hope that Brenden does run the EB on True street tyres though as it would give a better indication of where other people are at against him.

The Mock EB (DEV6 not DEV5)is a sight to behold. Alot of the good time is down to the guy shifting the T5, i havent heard a shift so quick.

Regardless of what it has run on 10.5" MT drag radials, it would be intresting to see what it would run on say 225 15 street tyres. 13.5's would have to be on the cards.

Standard dress for this car is a set of Simmons B45's on it with 225/15's on the front and with 255/15's on the back. Would you guys classify that as street dress??? These are alot smaller than the M/T'S. M/T's are 12.5" or 310mm.

JUST to clarify what this car actually is,

Copied from the website
- DEV 5 Performance Kit
- JMM 3/4 Race Engine Rebuild*
- DEV Race-Series Headers*
- DEV Ultra-Flow Intake Kit*
- 3.9 LSD Rear Axle
- T5 Manual Gearbox
- JMM Ceramic Clutch *
- Hawk ECU - Engine Management *
- JMM Race-Series B/B Intake Manifold *

AS you can see, this car is a DEV5 with the lot. Everything marked * is an add-on to a standard kit.

Try being in the car when he does it.....neck snapping good fun!

He took me for a shakedown run at Heathcote and "only" ran a 14.4... which was bloody fast enough as a passenger in that thing.

Yes you should be as the JMM workshop ute is not an official FF.com.au member car, but it is a sponsor car, and thats why I added it.

The ute is because, even though its not on the timeslip list, its run at a couple of the AFF Heathcote meets and actually won its class there.

I was there (Calder) the night it ran the 14.0 and can verify the time!

I am still waiting for the modded up JMM BA XT to hit the track. And to say the least, it is an un-assuming ball-tearer.

Cortina is a lot lighter than a Falcon though. I'd love to see the JMM engine in a cortina!! :

The question was fastest Ford 6 N/A so cortina/capri's with V6 or 250's are eligable.

The quickest 4.0 na ford is Brenden Mock...the sky is blue and black is black.

Brendan and Jim are some of the nicest blokes you can do business with and good luck to them.

Rod rainford's XC coupe 6cyl manual running low 12's at heathcote in the early 90's is an easy number one.

That is very quick for a naturally aspirated ford six , was it a full bodied street car? ie full interior, no fibreglass?
