He must have worked out the traction issue, he was looking strong before but grip was holding him back. Shit I am no longer quicker than him, this is war! Then again, he had to crack open his motor to beat me.

Congratulations, so much to ask about now. What were your times throughout the night (need to be careful about surprise times). And what has been done to the car... gecko8rx mentioned it had been opened? What tyres? What tune? 60ft and 1/8 mile time and speed etc?

Beautiful work Guys, a New Record, a KILLER 60ft time, these manual utes know how to party.........

XR8 owners all over have had a lot to crow about the past few weeks, this is a top reason for everyone to get excited.........The temptation to "open" a 260 is getting pretty strong now......

As Mark said get that great 60 foot and get the good ET to go with it...it's the key

Problem is with these 1900-2000kg fatties is that those times are hard to come by, and would be impossible without racing tyres....which makes it that much more impressive for thos ewho have done it.

The ls1 guys on drag radials get 1.6-1.7 60 footers, goes to show how less weight can get you off faster

Yep, I think us Boss guys have just got to accept that 1.8-1.9 60' times are the one's to get. How are anyway Rod?, can't wait to see you getting into the times again.

Not bad Craig...the ute's getting some much needed overdue attention for a few minor issues, then considering a few runs every now and then!

congratulation guys on the great times

weather its opened or not it great to see a 260 run a 12 manual or auto, i thinks it time for some of the guys with the 290s to go out & have a run before they are over run with the 260s

congrats again
