Seeing as we have no speed cameras here........ :Reverend:

I do flash for oncoming HWP and unmarked units though. Stupid thing is half the time people dont realise what youre doing and flash you back.

Yep sure do

Usually down here the camera vans are in heaps visible spots though so you dont really have to but there is the odd occasion when they will hide around a bend or at the bottom of a hill.

I pretty much know every spot where they have them on the roads i use.

Of course. If I can I'll also wind my window down and indicate there's a revenue raiser ahead (either twirling my finger like a siren or rubbing my fingers together).

Ya, I can sorta imagine the queen doing that and saying, "I ownzer yous guys. Gimme your ching so I can buy da bling."

But any chance I get to warn motorists gives me a warm fuzzy feeling for the rest of the day.

yep i do it everytime, although you can get fined for flashing high beams in an innappropriate manner according to the fuzz.. and by inappropriate they mean 'possibly reducing revenue' ..

solution - i just turn my headlights on and off quickly without using the high beams, perfectly legal...

absolutely, ive even thought about stopping about half a kay before them and putting up a sign warning people...!

one drunken night a mate and i actually thought about dressing up in superhero costumes and heading out near a camera not far from our house and warning people...i think we sobered up just in the nick of time! :hihi:

Yep do it everytime, plus i broadcast it on the UHF.

Police cameras are a joke, they are getting more sneaky in QLD with where they park them, lucky for me im good at spotting them from a distance.

One hting I have noticed, it's very rare in NSW but EVERYONE does it in Victoria. Funny really, they probably catch more in NSW even though they're less strict simply through this fact, whereas in Vic everyone flashes so they'd potentially catch less people.

I flash even when there isn't one to the cars I can see are going way way too fast. Its kind of satisfying to see their brake lights come on and you may have just saved there life or someone elses.. maybe.

But yes I will always flash.

At night time I do it very quickly so the lights don't actually reach their full brightness but its obvious to someone you are flashing.

I always wave back too.

Done it!! Because they are just lowly scum, they don't have the right to make you move either. :yeees: The guy was just about to set up when he asked me if I would move.. "Ummmm no" and continued to hassle me for ages. I didn't budge. Eventually he moved off. Sucker. :

Nope. The tolerances are high enough in NSW, if you get done then it's your own fault.
