Yeah, I don't exactly agree with it, but those are sourced from Wheels I think. Must've been a huge difference in the days they tested them.

I think that 15.28 sec time for the BA XT in wheels was for the manual.

14.55 @ 98 in an EL 4.0 hamburger with the lot:
Massive Cam
Extreme Head Porting
Piggy Back [On Police ECU]
3.45's
Shift Solenoid
Exhaust
Extractors
Cold Air

This was not a "workshop" car... All work was done by lesser known people who regularly get more power for less money invested.

By the way, Brenden Mock tells me he's putting a powerglide into his red EB : so that should be interesting

stock my AUII Auto Fairmont wagon ran 16.8!!

Even now its only down to 15.6 which is a fraction quicker than an BA Auto XR6.

Yes I have the wheels mag test which tested the BA range and it says 15.8 for the Auto XR6 so I can tell you for sure the BA XT auto did 16.1 and the 15.2 is a mistake misprint etc.

I have lined up a mates new nicely run in Telstra fleet BA XT Mk11 Wagon and guess what its lighter than the XT Sedan and XR6 sedan and it could not beat my wagon and in fact I would pull away from 120kmh on. It did well though I didn't think it would keep up as it doesn't feel as fast as mine but thats just the exhaust noise placebo effect I guess.

How is the BA Wagon lighter then the BA Sedan? Its a longer wheelbase with more metal.... impossible.
