Default Camp Quality esCarpade 2005

Anyone out there who might be interested please contact CQ. Its a great motoring event.

Camp Quality's biggest fundraiser of the year is esCarpade, a motoring event that challenges drivers to 3000km of dusty, muddy and down-right difficult roads, to send the Camp Quality ‘fun therapy’ message to the community and raise funds for kids living with cancer and their families.

This year starts at Darling Harbour, Friday 14 October and finishes in Ballarat on 21 October. The route takes in central and south-western NSW and Victoria through some of the most scenic and stark landscapes the two states have to offer.

But the challenge begins now. esCarpade needs more entrants to reach its fundraising goal and help Camp Quality reach beyond the 5000 families they assist each year through recreational, educational and financial assistance programs.

If you are thinking of entering, esCarpade is a far cry from your average motoring event. Forget serious competitive attitudes and sleeping in tents. When you're not behind the wheel grinning ear to ear, expect the 'fun therapy' to kick in and mayhem to follow.

So if you know someone with a pre-1985 vehicle, who likes a bit of dirt road driving, doesn't mind joining 200 other driving lovers, wants to meet Greg Murphy, Mark, Gary and Glen, Ella, Steve Monaghetti and other sporting legends along the way - then you need to contact Aimee Mason at Camp Quality NOW on 9869 0588 to find out how join.

Just note, when you enter, your pre-1985 car must be fitted with some essential safety equipment. Safety comes first, so there will be 25 road officials to ensure all vehicles and entrants arrive at each destination. For more information about vehicle requirements and entering esCarpade go to www.campquality.org.au and click on esCarpade.
