Default Club display for Sandown Historics

Hi fellow club members,

We will be having a display at the historics this Sunday at Sandown.

Each car will receive two weekend passes.

Please let me know TODAY if you are interested. We will meet as a group and go in together.

Cheers,

GBG

Was a great day - weather was perfect. Good turn out of Mustangs as well. Only problem was the press release said Moffats Mustang was going to be there but after about 2 hours of searching I still couldn't find it ??????? Also I admire even more the drivers from the 70's after seeing Jim Richards Falcon coupe on display next to the fantastic Gibson XY Phase 3. Poor old Jim had an automatic and didn't even have a rollcage !!!! A big thanks to the lovely ladies on the VHRR merchandise stand . They gave me there last poster when I bought a Tshirt ( that was only $15 ) and a program, they even put it in a bright pink shopping bag so I couldn't get lost in the crowd.

usually I go to these events but just didn't feel like it this time since my father didn't have the top engine in the car for this event. Some nice pics there, I love seeing clubs display at these motorsport weekend
My father races MG's
If any of you were in the pits, you would of seen the triple A Motorsport signage on the ex supaloc team V8 super car transporter.

It's funny when we roll up at interstate tracks with it and four MG's roll out of it

G'Day SVR73,

Funnily enough when we walked past the transporter that was full of MG's we wondered if it was the one that you had detailed in another thread- looks like we were right...

The turnout of cars wasn't as good as previously, but still a great day nevertheless.

Default Ouch

It was a great day on Saturday as well. The sight of Rust French in his Porsche running over the top of a F5000 was not a sight you see every day!!

And NO as usual, I did not have a camera!!
