This thead reminds me, today I pulled up at a set of lights, then one of those little Hyundais pulled up next to me. Waiting for the light to go green, they kept revving their engine and edging forward - I had such a hard time not laughing. Light went green and they dumped the clutch and floored it, and slowly took off, front wheels screeching in protest. What made it all the more funny was that I took off only slightly quicker then I normally would, about 2/3rds throttle, and was still right along side him when I reached 80km/h (the speed limit on that road) and backed off.

Considering how slow the XF is to 80km/h, I thought it was damn funny, and if I'd tried, I would have left him behind in my slow XF. I mean, seriously, what did he think he was driving? LOL!

Please note, I wouldn't have called it a drag race, I didn't lose traction at all, nor did I accelerate much faster then usual, certainly not fast enough to pose a risk to any ducks or people that may have been crossing the road 100 meters down the road, lol

if i was a hyundai driver , thats how my hundi would look. i think it adds a nice touch. if anyone here has ever "customized" there ride ie- wheels, trick paint, polished parts, chome bits, tinted stuff ......you get the picture, you should not bag them , coz that would be quite hypocritical.

i say good on em for doing it up, but they should of at least put some nice rims on it and lowered the out of it (excels can actually go *quite* low) ...

But if I was ever cruising and he revved at me i'd get out and kick him in the head
