Just had a Alpine CDA-9856i with a line for an iPod installed into the Fiesta. Still running the factory 5x7s at the moment but they do a reasonable job anyway.

you dont need a detatchable face with the eclipse head unit they have there own security system called esn that is cd locked so if someone steals it they cant use it unless they have the magic cd and when they go to get it fixed they get caught and you get your unit back hopefully. bit of piece of mind that nobody can listen to your tunes it really is a bit cleaver i think

Same here (but i only run 2 1/2 twins with the turbo mufflers) Even the wife says there is no use in having a unit inside the car as you wouldnt hear it. I only have a hole where the unit is supposed to be.....but im saving up for this unreal radio blank .........but your right....love that music from the clevo !!!

Mate, the amp is stock. It's behind the carpet panel on the drivers side in the boot.

Anyone that is good enough to break into a latemodel falcon with its locking system should know that they are dumb to steal a eclipse head unit cause they just wont work when they are takin from the car. and thats wots insurance is for as well if we all had that atitude nobody would have mag wheels or flash engines in there ride

Some Pioneer headhunit, 1" splits in the dash, some alpine type S splits in the rear and some other alpine type S in the door. Some Pioneer amp. Sounds really good, just don't know what half of it is.
Couple of 10" subs would top it off nice.

Default suguestions anyone???

Hi all,

I have a Ford AU II Forte and the standard front speakers have just had it. I do not know much about sound systems but would love anyones help in suguesting what to buy.

I have a VDO Mp3 player head unit and somewhere down the track would love to get an amp. I just want something half decent with really punchy bass.

Can anyone help me???
Thanks in advance
