hey everyone, yeah ive just started a 'mechanical technician/heavy' fancy words for heavy mechanics apprenticeship. i first did 6months in a "pre-apprenticeship" at the company im at which i think has got most of the sweeping/**** kicking jobs outta the way and then they offered me an apprenticeship. im really rapped because i really didnt want to go find another job!

in 3 months i will be getting my $800 grant and will probably buy a sidcrome/kincrome apprentice kit. a few other apprentices have the same and they come with a toolbox/trolley/heaps of tools and seem to be good value.
im loving the pay ($6.80p/h) but its better than nothing i guess, atleast i get bumped upto $8.00 in sixmonths because i only have to do a 3.5 year apprenticeship .
