This idea is totally preposterous but perhaps when the new 4 bangers arrive in the falcon the thinking might be that Ford does the sporty 4 and 6 variants, XR4 and XR6 and leave the V8's to FPV like GS, GT, GT-H and so on..
I guess in that way Ford can be the environmentally friendly brand in todays politically correct world but still have a hand in the performance world through the backdoor with FPV.

complete speculation of course...hopefully way off the mark.

Default Paint codes

Why not offer the original paint codes that they came out with as well as the modern colours,Will this now make the GS more collectable than it already is? (hope so)

Are there any hi res pics floating around yet? A frontal 3/4 shot would be nice.

Are you sure about that, they were working on a turbo 1.4 for it with around 130-140 kw.

I just hate it. GS was an option on regular cars. GS was never a model, just an option. It belongs well in the past. XR is a model.

And to add to it, those GS logos belong to the past. Horrible on a modern car.

I have based my opinions on what I have read on a couple of Ford sites, but, like all info, that is subject to change.

How exactly?

I would think a higher KW specced engine over an XR8 isn't classified as just a sticker pack .... for starters?

Looks nice in white.

This is a bit old but has info on the basic details of it, as well as spotted prototypes, but it seems to have gone quiet though, so maybe it's on hold or has been cancelled?

Looks better than a GT. Heaps better. Just get someone to flash tune it and you'd have a stinker.

Looks good to me, may be priced too keenly to other heavily discounted premium FPV demo/old stock products to provide enough value for some guys though, time will tell.
