The color difference is like its bumpers of a different car. Driving it around like that is bad advertising for Mazda. Plastic bumpers have been around for well over a decade now so they should have no issues. If no luck with Mazda im sure ACA would love to hear your story and im sure alot of ther victims will pop up. In saying that Mazda will hate the bad press.

there seems to be a few people that are missing the point. (or maybe i read it wrong)
to me the OP isn't whinging so much about the difference in colour between metal and plastic, but more the fact that it seems to have changed since they bought it. if i read it correctly, the colour match between front bar and car used to be same as rear bar but over the course of their ownership it has gone darker?? chopped - showing me all the other mismatched examples as a customer, doesn't make it right. the 'they're all like that' and 'they all do that' slogans have been used for far too long. as technology improves, expectations rise. i'm in the printing industry, and what was acceptable 5 years ago is rubbish today. improvements in technology mean the expected quality level is also raised. to a point it is also the same in many manufacturing industries, including auto. the general public expect a lot more these days regarding quality. |

You're the buyer; the owner and entitled to your opinion and the paint disparity is not good enough.
If being smarter and less tolerant of a 'stuff up' then good for you; doesn't really matter why it's like that they should be willing to fix it to your satisfaction. ACA a very good idea. |
