Default Re: tap washers and turning water off urgent

it's all common sense........sinks are a piece of cake..Youtube is your friend and the interweb in general......hardware stores will help as well.

just don't do what I did when removing an "S" bend back a while ago, still full of water and crap, I undid it and, without thinking, poured it back down the sink drain......yep! the one I just took the "S" bend off.

don't over tighten those flex hoses, they have a rubber inside that gets a bit crappy and can twist out then leak,.you don't want that in an internal wall.

if you can easily access them, turn the water off again, release the pressure with a nearby tap, take the flex joints apart and replace the rubbers.

may your day's be filled with smiles, your life be filled with love, may your children know nothing but happiness and joy, cherish the memory of those who strove before us for they cleared the way, spare a thought for those who serve we owe so much to so many, life and the freedom to enjoy it is a special gift that can be taken away far too soon!
