Default GT40 Replica Question

Hi guys,
I encountered one of these babies in the streets of Melbourne today, and I was in sheer amazement. It would have most likely been a replica, hence my curious question.

How much would it have cost to have a replica built? I.e. in running condition, turnkey kit is what I beleive it is called?

Can these be road registered?

I think turnkey replica kits from Roaring Fourties are $110,000 or thereabouts

Man, the GT 40 is THE supercar. The only car to win Le Mans two years in a row WITH THE SAME CAR, and 3 years in a row altogether. Ford bought the design off Lola, after Ferrari refused to sell out to Ford. So they came up with the GT 40 concept to rub Enzo's nose in it. Roaring Fordies factory is in Dromana, a bit over an hour south of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula. If you phone them, they will show you around. After that, go and have lunch at the Dromana Hotel opposite the beach. Its a great spot.
