Ford Aus need to take note and run a similar national tv ad series along these lines, let Australia know what an sensational product they have!!!

That is the whole reason for the Ford one.. They are basically saying they'll take up Holdens chanlange of "May the best car win" by telling us to drive the Falcon!!


It is a good add for a local dealer, I'm just not sure it is good for Ford nationally.. I think it is better to tell people of what your car does well or is the best in, not put the competition down..

And you are probably right it does seem like a good localised sales tactic. And while we all know which car is better it could backfire for Ford nationally. Although, maybe they could try the idea with a little more subtlety so non car enthusiasts wouldnt notice, like h****n marketing seems to do successfully

And this is how the add should go. The "other" car add is being poorly projected onto a big screen, then just when the add says the throw away line about may the best car win, a 50th anniversary Falcon drives right through the screen and the driver gets out and and asks the question. Which manufacturer is most likely to have the best car? Ford thats Who!
