Okay, my girlfriend is looking at buying a car. She has looked at a car, and put a deposit on it - she even got the seller to write on a piece of paper the details and signed it.

Otherwise, wtf is the point in putting a deposit down in the first place? What if this slag does sell it? Please help ASAP! (I am sick of being screwed around by sellers)
